Glass Size

The glass balustrades are individually made in our factory on the basis of measurements received in the project or, if necessary, carried out on site by our specialized technicians. The maximum size of the panels depends on factors such as: access to the space, thickness of the glass, diameter of the clamps.

Handrails in tempered and laminated glass:

Transparent Design manufactures laminated and tempered glass point handrail systems that meet all building safety standards, in a wide range of colors and finishes:

  • Clear float glass
  • Ultra-clear glass
  • Bronze/grey/black mass-tinted glass
  • Chemically sandblasted glass (MATELUX) or laminated with matte foil

Structure and grips

The handrail plan should include the exact number and diameter of point fastenings to ensure comfort and safety in use. The point fasteners are usually made of satin-finished stainless steel, but also other metals depending on budget. The panels are fixed to the side of the span/ bridge, requiring a minimum distance of 300 mm for fastening. Stainless steel/wood handrail can be used.
