Glass Canopies

Glass canopies represent an elegant and durable choice for outdoor spaces. They provide protection against the elements while adding extra natural light, maintaining a modern and airy appearance.

Glass canopies are used in a variety of spaces and contexts: at the main entrances of office buildings, above doors leading to terraces, at the entrances of hotels, restaurants, shops or public institutions.

Various types of glass can be used for constructing canopies: clear float glass, ultra-clear low-iron glass, colored glass, ceramic digitally printed glass or enameled glass.

Regardless of the aesthetic, only tempered glass or tempered-laminated glass should be used for canopies, as they ensure impact resistance and comply with safety standards.

The thickness of the glass used varies between 8 mm and 20 mm, depending on the size and loads to which the canopy will be subjected (snow, wind, etc.).

Countless models, colors and shapes can be chosen for making glass canopies and the fixing systems can also vary: stainless steel cables, stainless steel rods, “U” profiles, etc.
